my philosophy
2015
My power words start with the simple phrase “believe in yourself.” When I say “believe in yourself,” I mean “be true to yourself and your abilities.” Believe that nothing is impossible. If I can dream of something, it can become a reality. I believe that if I know and trust myself, I can overcome any obstacles. I believe the same for you, and for everyone on this planet. We are here for a reason—to find out who we are and to use our personality to serve the soul. According to Gary Zukav in his book “Seat of the Soul,” authentic empowerment is “when our personality comes fully to serve the energy of its soul.” When we are empowered, anything is possible.
great is achieved without at least a little bit of struggle and adversity. In fact, I feel that this struggle is what builds maturity and confidence. Moreover, having the confidence to pursue our goals gives us the extra motivation to push ourselves further—we find out through trial and challenge that we are capable of doing much more than we ever thought possible. It becomes a cycle of growth: first, we challenge ourselves to reach for our goals, then we face difficulties in reaching those goals, and finally, when we achieve the goals we feel a sense of satisfaction, a renewed belief in our own abilities. This truth manifests in any aspect of life—but for many, the first manifestation is in school. |
